Epic is a Leadership Academy in Cary, North Carolina which welcomes motivated youth ages 12-17 who are ready to lead in a rapidly changing world. In a time of constant disruption, parents seek more than traditional education — they want their children equipped to thrive in an unpredictable future.
Epic Lead Academy bridges the critical gap that schools often miss:
Essential Life, Leadership, Career, and Personal Protection Skills.
Personal Protection is one of our four pillars — a vital piece of future-proofing your child with the ability to defend themselves.
We are experts at creating engaging ("sticky") lessons that keep students excited to learn and grow. Classes include physical activity focused on personal protection, which builds both attention and resilience — serving as the glue that ties all four pillars together.
This is not a martial arts program. There are no belts or ranks.

We kick off every class by breaking a sweat with Personal Protection, one of the 4 pillars helping you develop your Epic Lead. This high-energy training pulls from the world’s most effective fighting arts to build real-world self-defense skills.
Because having an Epic Lead in life starts with having the strength and confidence to protect yourself. Our Warrior Training sparks team-building, fuels leadership, and sets the tone for the entire session. Every class covers the four pillars, making each week a powerful step toward giving you an Epic Lead.We finish each class with Community Service Project Planning, where students put leadership into action—culminating in a meaningful project by Week 12!
